Call The Midwife

Hi chappes,

Tonight was the last episode of this series of Call the Midwife, so i wanted to write a post on it.

If you didn't know Call the Midwife is a BBC period drama series about a group of nurse midwives working in the East End of London in the 1950s and 1960s. It stars Jessica Raine, Miranda Hart, Helen George, Bryony Hannah, Laura Main, Jenny Agutter, Pam Ferris, Judy Parfitt, Cliff Parisi, Stephen McGann, Ben Caplan, Emerald Fennell, Victoria Yeates, Linda Bassett and Charlotte Ritchie. The series was created by Heidi Thomas, originally based on the memoirs of Jennifer Worth but since expanded to include new, historically sourced material.

The show has a mixture of everything, bits will make you laugh, other bit cry - it a GREAT show. They're are birthing scenes if you don't like things like that its fine because it very well films. Its nothing like One born every minute. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This is one of my sisters favourite shows as she has all the box sets and probably watched each episode about 5 times.

I can't believe the ending to the series, i don't want to spoil it to anyone who is reading this who hasn't watched it. The only thing I'm saying is that its a wedding and a funeral.

If you can never watched call the midwife before i would highly recommend to start with the christmas episodes.

Hope you like this post
